OC Safety CPR & First Aid Training

OC Safety CPR and First Aid Training Center is located in Orange County, Southern California and was established in 2009 by two local firefighter/paramedics with similar stories. Both of our founders were born prematurely and suffered from Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS), a life threatening emergency, commonly seen in premature infants. These two gentlemen survived RDS and grew up to become the men they are today, thankful for the training and education of the doctors, nurses and hospital staff, whom saved their lives. In addition to their professional careers, they wanted to establish a company which provides education and training to not only medical personnel, but to men, women and children looking to make a difference in the community.

IN 2014, Janet Robson joined OC Safety Inc. Ms. Robson is a Practicing Nurse Practitioner, and she focuses on family practice with specialty in adult/geriatrics medicine. Ms. Robson has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She was a Registered Nurse (RN) for 11 years with specialty in the intesive care unit and respiratory care. Ms. Robson will be a great asset to the team and will be focusing in providing heath educational services and worshops hands on clinical skills for the NP's, PA's, and Nurses.

OC Safety CPR and First Aid Training Center offers American Heart Association approved courses in BLS for Healthcare Provider, Heartsaver CPR, AED and First Aid, Pediatric First Aid, Adult CPR, Child CPR and ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support for Heathcare providers who may respond to a cardiovascular emergency. Our Philosophy is that every student has a safe and comfortable learning experience that is catered to their needs and to help facilitate their learning. To us, the learning and understanding of CPR is important to gain certification, but we make certain that each of our students have the confidence to perform effective CPR and take action in emergent situations. 

Unlike other CPR training companies, OC Safety is taught by Firefighters, Paramedics and Registered Nurses on staff, and each have personally performed CPR and can incorporate their experiences into the hands on class situations. Since you simply cannot practice CPR on a live human, our CPR Training programs use new LED rate monitoring , state of the art manikins for accurate compression to breathing ratio, and to help you learn how hard and fast you’ll need to push on a person’s chest for resuscitation. 

All of our instructors are passionate and knowledgeable about what they do and together, have over 20 years of Emergency Medical Service experience. We are involved in all of our classes, patient and willing to answer all questions, because CPR is the most important medical skill you will ever learn, and we believe that together, we CAN save lives!
