Ken was a fun and good instructor. I really appreciated the way he looked to offer commendation and constructive feedback so that everyone got better, no matter where they started when the class began.
Great class! Informative and fun!
Very helpful for anyone interested in learning about the voiceover industry and whether they have the voice and directability to work in it. The instructor knew the industry and provided good feedback for every participant.
It was a great class, especially for those interested in the voice over field. There was a great group of folks in my class. I enjoyed learning more about this field. Who knows...maybe this will be a new venture for me!
This class taught me EVERYTHING I need to know about the Voice-Over industry. My first visit to Edge Studios was in October of 2017 and I had a great time inside the booth. Danielle Q. had the utmost knowledge for the business. Right now, I’m pushing my limits practicing and practicing to find my first gig.
I really appreciate the introduction to Voice Over. I felt we had a nice size class ( and my peers were enthusiastic ). Noelle and Jenna were gracious with us, and Noelle provided much explanation of what is expected, needed, and desired in voice over talents. This seemed to me to be an ideal way to experience what work in the field might be like. I have a specialized interest in certain parts of the field which include audio books, doing voice for rpg games, and reviving the old radio serial type format. So although those were not the focus of the presentation, Noelle and my classmates provided some resources to investigate further ! The only part I can't really comment on is the evaluation of my potential in the field - as that conversation hasn't yet occurred.
It was a great class. The instructor was very informative and the class was great!
Knowledgeable and seasoned instructors coupled with practical advice and a taste of the recording experience made this an informative and interesting experience. Definitely recommend for people interested in voiceover.
It was great being able to get into a real booth to do a voice recording but I would have like to hear my recording back. I was not given the chance to hear how I sounded.
Noel was awesome
