EDGE is world renowned as a leader in commercial dance and L.A. styles. Established in 1992, we offer beginning through professional open classes 7 days a week, 350 days a year. Class styles include Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, Contemporary, Theatre Dance, Turns and Jumps, Salsa and many Dance fitness styles. The faculty is a who’s who of industry choreographers, teachers and performers whose instruction and work have inspired generations of dancers. They have worked with entertainers including Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Prince, Rihanna, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. 

The studio has provided dancers, support personnel, meeting, rehearsal and filming space for numerous events and benefits and have sponsored events for the Gabriella Foundation, AIDS Healthcare Foundation, Los Niño’s. Boys and Girls Club of Hollywood, World Choreography Awards, L.A. Dance Invitational (benefiting the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center Youth Services), Dancers Responding to AIDS, Mountain AIDS Foundation, LA Gay Men’s Chorus, Fosse Awards, Fosse Scholarship program, RAD Awards, Dancers Alliance and National Dance Week. EDGE has also provided rehearsal space and sponsorship for many local dance companies: Hysterica, Royal Flux, Entity, Catastrophe Dance, Stilt World, Commonality Dance Company, Rei Aoo’s DancePlanet, Lux Aeterna, TapSounds Underground and Unity Dance Ensemble. 

Studio classes are open and on-going. Register on-line and purchase classes by the single-class or our 3, 5, 10 or 20-class card. We do not do placement classes. Each studio has an observation window so you can watch a class before taking it. Then, sign-in before each class you take on-line, to reserve your spot, and at the studio.
