Song Performance Workshop

Students can practice accompanying themselves and performing for the class to gain insight and experience. Original performance showcase on campus at the conclusion of the class for students who want to participate.
SAT Preparation
The 2016 S.A.T. is a newly formatted test. This class introduces students to the new format and covers all 2016 Official S.A.T. Study Guide. Students will be expected to purchase and utilize their own copies of the College Board’s 2016 Official S.A.T. Study Guide. No materials will be provided by the instructor. Class will meet for six weeks leading up to a specific test date in order to maximize student performance on the S.A.T. Next S.A.T....
Home Recording

Beginning skills for recording, mixing and distributing your songs! Computers will be provided for class times, but students will need access to their own computers if they want to do additional work. Please bring a USB drive 2 GB and up. There is a $10 material fee payable at the first day of class.
Songwriting Essentials

Learn how lyrics, chords and melody combine to create a good song. Examples from a variety of popular genres will be studied and students will write and perform original tunes in class. There will be an optional performance night at the end of the course at a local music venue to showcase student’s songs.
Weekly Musicianship Lab
Learn and review assignments about musicianships. For students who need supplemental work on Musicianship class assignments/review for testing. Tutor will be available for 90-minute session. Register one Sunday at a time or for several at once.
