What you'll learn in this film production class:
The camp will encompass writing scripts, acting techniques, genre workshops, use of cameras and filming equipment, editing and more, culminating in a movie project made by and starring the students themselves!
We will be filming during Day 3 and 4!

Day One (Whitmore Theater, NoHo):
- Our first day is in a professional theater space!
- Understanding the main principals and technical aspects of filmmaking
- Acting games and Icebreakers
- Talk Show live recording
- Pitching story idea and basic Screenwriting
- Acting workshops with script
- 'Zombie' movie-making
- Rehearsals
- Location Scouting
- Pre-production of film project
Day 3 (Studio, Toluca Lake):
- Filming

- Reshoots
- Footage evaluation

* Completed Movies will made available for download online shortly after the end of the course.
** On occasions, movies will be entered into international film festivals! If this is the case, we will offer letters of consent from parents before application.
