Description

What you'll learn in this tour:

Discover and celebrate decades of United States space exploration at the California Science Center.

This excursion will include an up-close encounter with space shuttle Endeavour, while it is still in its horizontal placement. This discovery will also provide access to the Parts & People exhibit, which displays actual artifacts from the shuttle exploration program. In addition, there will be a showing of a related film in the IMAX Theater.

Lunch will be on-your-own in one of several food service facilities at the Center. Step-on guide John Powers will provide background information about the shuttle program that will enhance your experience.

Excursion fee inlcudes museum and IMAX theater entrance ticket.

Depart: El Camino College lot J (in front of the Marsee auditorium)

Note:

Students under 18 years of age, must have a parent or guardian complete a Release & Medical Consent form.

Refund Policy

Class Withdrawal

If you request to withdraw from a class and the request is received by us 4 business days prior to class start date, a credit voucher valid for three(3) years will be granted, less a $20 processing fee.

Special policy for excursions and special events:

Refund requests for excursions and special events must be received no later than 11 full business days before the scheduled excursion or event.

Cancellation

If the College cancels a class for any reason, those pre-registered will be notified by phone and email and payment will be refunded. The school also reserve the right to substitute instructors or reschedule class times if necessary.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
