What you'll learn in this more baking class:
Now is the perfect time to put up Jam. Jam is a simple way to preserve the best fruits of the season to enjoy throughout the year. Making your own jam will elevate your biscuits, your PB&J and can be used to fill delicious handpies. Come learn the science and secrets behind making the perfect Jam.
We’ll also play with adding herbs and spices to give depth of flavor to our creation, and oven canning for long term storage. In class we will make a Strawberry Jam and a Nectarine Jam. Students go home with a jar of each.
All materials and fresh farmer's market fruit used in class is included in the price.
