What you'll learn in this bread class:

You can't make real sourdough without a happy and healthy starter. Learn everything you need to know to take your bread baking to the next level. This class is a combination of classroom discussion and hands on workshop.

Are you struggling with your starter? Intimidated by the task of creating one or maintaining one? Is your starter misbehaving and in need of some discipline?

A starter is really easy to work with with a little bit of knowledge and practice, and is often one of the main reasons your bread may not be turning out the way you want. It is the engine that drives your bread. If you're new to baking this class is must - if you're an experienced baker, this class may help you fine tune your starter management.

In this class, we'll discuss all aspects of sourdough starters from feeding schedules, managing sourness, when to use it, uses for excess starter. I'll even cover how to manage your starter so that you'll always have starter ready to go without ever having to throw any away!

You'll go home with a sample of my starter if you want it!
