Back by popular demand! Our Tea Towel Apron Workshop sold out in May - so we've added the live Zoom workshop again in September!
Join us for a Saturday morning workshop and discover the beauty of old French textiles by creating something new out of something old! We've teamed up with some of our favorite French General teachers to offer a fun-filled, creative live Zoom workshop, complete with a kit from French General.
These workshops are great for beginners or experienced crafters. The kits include everything you need to create a beautiful project - with a few suggested useful tools to have on hand.
Create an apron using an old French tea towel. Using an old tea towel found at the brocantes in France, Melissa will teach you how to turn a simple household textile into a wearable apron - complete with ties, pocket and as many patches as you want to add.
Please note in checkout if you would like a red or a blue tea towel - and scraps to match.
Availability of choice of color is limited to first come first served.
The French Tea Towel Apron Kit includes: one antique French tea towel, antique fabric scraps, apron tie, sewing thread, embroidery thread and needles.
Other useful tools to have on hand: extra needles and pins, fabric scissors, iron and pressing pad
