Bring your sewing project, a pattern, or just your desire to sew, and join us for Sew Shop. This is an open studio for sewists, a chance to use the studio's sewing machines, sergers, printer, and big tables, and to hang out with a community of sewists. Trade tips + tricks, be inspired, mend some clothes, or simply carve out some quality time for your sewing.
We will have a curated selection of small projects available to choose from, along with fabric options for those of you who want to come and sew but are not currently in the middle of a project. Projects might include zipper pouches, sewing kits, bookmarks, pen holders, etc.
Our standard printer will be available to print A4 pattern files. We have a paper cutter and tape available to assemble patterns as well.
Hand sewing needles, embroidery needles and thread, fusible, poly-fil, iron-on adhesive backing, and other sewing notions will be available, but please be sure to bring your own if you need something specific.
