Ever wanted to hit your sewing machine? The Beginning sewing class will rebuild your confidence so you can start new with a beautiful relationship.
We show you how to thread, wind and troubleshoot a standard home sewing machine, as well as how to sew a tote bag from start to finish graciously without hurting your new favorite home appliance. Everything you need is included in this class. Just bring yourself! We provide a variety of different model sewing machines to show you the basics of how the machine operates. We use the brands Singer, Janome, Juki and Brother.
Parking:
Eagle rock is a quaint community but it is still in Los Angeles. Please allow yourself time to find street parking. Parking is free and we recommend parking in the neighborhood behind the shop accessible from Corliss ave. Please respect Eagle rock blvd parking signs
Accessibility:
Our studio is above our storefront and only accessible up one flight of stairs.
Timeliness:
Please arrive a couple minutes early to get settled in as doors will CLOSE at 11am sharp to ensure the class starts on time and no one falls behind.
This class is focused on the operation of sewing machines and how to use them properly but we cannot accommodate students with their own machines due to different levels of workability and set up that may delay the class for other students
Classes can be rescheduled with 2 business days but refunds for classes are not available.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
