Question from Jill M.
Do we bring our own machines?
Answer from Georgia C. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi Jill! The school will provide a machine for the workshop however if you want to bring your own machine, you are more then welcome. I just want to advise you that if the machine is old or haven’t been used for a long time then I suggest that you should get it tuned up before bringing it to class. Hope this helps!

This was a truly great class. My sewing skills were a little rustier than I thought, but the instructor was gracious enough to meet me at my level. The class was also super small - only 3 people so there was a lot of one on one attention, we got to shape the class a little and I learned a ton! I wish I would have had more time to prep and bring in the appropriate items to alter - I probably would have learned more, but that’s on me! We worked on shortening pants, taking in pants that are too wide in both the leg and the waist, taking in shirts that were too wide, shortening sleeves that are too long, installing different kinds of zippers, fixing zippers, and patching holes. All very useful! Also, if I were to do it over again, I would be sure to bring snacks and eat better beforehand. The 4 hours of class catch up to you especially if you are prone to hanger ;)

Loved the class. Matthew was a great instructor. I learned so much. I altered 5 pieces of clothing - the class paid for itself!
