What you'll learn in this dye class:

Bring in the color of California’s flora into your kitchen during a
morning/afternoon of learning California’s plant life dyes and learning to manipulate fabric using the shibori method. Practice the basics of natural dyeing and resist techniques as well as identifying plants in your garden and in nature that are useful for dyeing. It is advised to wear appropriate clothing and footwear (closed-toe shoes and clothes that won’t be ruined by an accidental dye spot).

Skill requirements:
This workshop is geared towards beginners.

Material requirements:
We will provide all materials needed to complete the project. Feel free to bring 2-3 additional items to dye (cotton tea towels, pillowcases, napkins, onesies, etc...)

Refund Policy
We require notification of cancellation 1 week prior to scheduled date for a refund. Less than 1 week notification will receive studio credit to be applied toward a future class, and notification less than 48 hours from scheduled date will receive no credit.

Some workshops require a minimum number of registered students. If we don't meet that minimum, we will contact you at least 48 hours in advance and will offer you your choice of a full refund or studio credit.
