What you'll learn in this beginner photography class:

Join a commercial photographer for a glorious day at the beautiful Getty Villa in Pacific Palisades. Summer is a great time to visit as all of the gardens are in full bloom.  Learn how to capture lovely and clear images at the art museum without using your flash or a tripod. As you experiment with various indoor and outdoor photographic techniques, you’ll experience the Villa’s unique essence and history.

Ask a friend or loved one to sign up with you—it’s a great way to have fun and make special memories together! Getty Villa admission is free and reservation will be made for you. You are responsible for the cost of parking (approx. $15), as well as lunch and snacks. Wear comfortable walking shoes and casual clothes (a sweater or light jacket is also recommended).

Bring along a couple of bottles of water and some snacks, and don’t forget your camera! Please turn off camera flash before entering museum.

Note: The teacher will email the students about the location before the class date.
