I recommended this class to others and even took it a second time with my parents when they came into town. The studio space was clean, professional, and welcoming. The people were friendly and the teacher was great as explaining every step of the stained glass process. I am trying to learn more about the craft and take more classes at Elementary Art Center. Description

This beginner's class serves as an introduction to stained glass. Students will use recycled glass pieces to compose an abstract glass panel. This workshop will cover topics such as glass scoring, cutting and sanding. Students will adhere the composition together with copper foil and solder and choose between various finishes in order to personalize their respective pieces.

This is a four hour class with a short break in the middle.

No experience necessary. All materials will be included!

Refund Policy

Full refund for cancellation 7 or more days before the class.
50% refund for cancellation 6 days to 24 hours in advance of the class.
No refund for cancellation of less than 24 hour notice.
Reschedule request is fine so long as it is 24 hours in advance.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Immensely fun! The environmentwas relaxed. Justin was very attentive, he gave easy concise instructions and helped when needed. He is an excellent teacher who allows you to discover your creativity in the craft, while guiding when necessary. The tools were well maintained, and safety guidelines were clear. I'm so proud of what I got to make. Anyone will enjoy this multiskill class and walk away with something they like.

I had the best time visiting the Element Art Center for the stained glass workshop. It was really easy to catch on as our instructor walked us through each step. She explained everything well and was available and ready for any questions if someone had any. All the supplies were provided and if anyone needed anything extra, it was brought to us. We are definitely looking forward to coming back and trying a different class eventually!

I really enjoyed the Long Pose Figure Drawing class. The people there were really welcoming. It was my first time but I could tell there were a lot of regulars and it was a really nice creative atmosphere. Someone even brought treats because it was their friend’s birthday. The model was great, 4 hours in the same pose is no joke! I definitely will go again.

It was lovely coming to this workshop. I booked spontaneously, because my partner and I really needed to do something meditative and creative for fun and as a way of reconnecting. Even though it was just one class, it ended up being one of our favourite dates. It was a warm, affirming environment to explore a new medium with the guidance of other artists. It was a great group of people and the format and structure of the class itself was really seamless. I’d definitely recommend this class to anyone interested in translating a connective, fun experience into an art piece you can take into a space of your own ❤️

I really loved this class. I think that to benefit neurodivergent students better, it would be nice if there had been an option to replicate a design or if, in advance of the class, we received some information on the limitations of the design as beginners. This way, we could develop a design in advance and bring it to class. Again, I loved the class but struggled with getting started, which had me rushing.

Class was super informative as it was enjoyable. I took my mom and sister to celebrate Mother’s Day and it was such a fun experience for all of us, especially it being our first time. The director was so attentive and kind to all of us and stayed after time to let us finish our pieces. Out of all the art classes I’ve tried (painting, pottery, etc.) I enjoyed this one the most :)
