This essential practice presents the ultimate challenge to the artist and once mastered, opens up a world of possibilities.
Whether you aim to become the next great portrait artist or just find joy in the process of drawing or painting, this course will set you on your path and will give you the tools you need to create a successful body of work!
In this course students will learn how to approach the

Week three and four will be a long pose using the basics taught during the first two sessions.

Make-Up Policy: Students pre-pay all classes by the month or the quarter - it is a commitment that is made by the student and Kline Academy that insures your easel space will be held for you. If a student misses a class for whatever reason, and if a 24-hour notice was given to our office, as a courtesy, Kline Academy welcomes students to come to any other class while enrolled and if space is available, to do a "make- up." Make-ups are not owed to a student and have no monetary value, they are simply a courtesy extended by Kline Academy.
Please note you may only take a make-up class when you are enrolled for a least a month and may only be used within the dates you are enrolled. A make-up class may not be used in the class you are in or added on at the end of the session. Make-ups expire at the end of the year they were acquired in.
Refund Policy: We are not able to offer refunds for any class or workshop for any reason once they have been purchased. If you sign up for a class and need to miss some of the dates within the month you may be able to take advantage of our makeup policy (see above). Please note any changes made to enrollment may incur a $75 administrative fee.
We are a different place to learn to paint, draw and create. Many students come to us who have had years of art school, have never been "taught" how to paint... But their frustration ends at our front door!
Adults and Teens alike can learn Drawing & Oil Painting, Acrylic too, Figure & Portrait,...
This school has been carefully vetted by CourseHorse and is a verified LA educator.
