What you'll learn in this bookbinding class:

Experiment with traditional bookbinding techniques taken to fun, contemporary styles.

Accordion, soft-cover Japanese binding techniques using waxed linen, ribbon, and beads, Jacob’s Ladder books with board and decorated pages, and a hard-cover book with multiple-sewn signatures and a ribbon bookmark. Students enrolled in the first session of mixed mediums can use their artwork in or on the books.

Fee includes all supplies.
Tuition is based on a minimum of eight students per course. With smaller enrollment, the Palos Verdes Art Center may offer students the option of meeting for fewer weeks. Otherwise the course may be canceled and all tuition refunded. Except for courses canceled by the Palos Verdes Art Center, there will be a $10 processing fee for any refund.
