Design Thinking Workshop for Solopreneurs, Entrepreneurs, & Freelancers
You are in the business of solving problems for your clients. You can solve those problems faster, creatively, and confidently. Design thinking is a creative problem-solving process used by designers of all kinds.
This process can be applied to all sorts of projects and industries. In this skills-based workshop, you will learn through a hands-on craft project. The craft project is a tool for learning the steps to the process. In this workshop, the craft project will be beginner jewelry making. (This will be cold connection jewelry making only. No soldering involved.)
Why craft?
Take a break from your screens to enjoy working with your hands. We all started out at a young age as a creator, but by adulthood, most of us have lost that confidence in creating. That is the same confidence that you need in problem-solving for your clients. Why not start again at the beginning by creating objects by hand?
What does confidence have to do with solving problems?
This a safe space meant to bolster your creativity and the creativity of others. We discuss the process of learning new skills and trying new ideas and how that process can be uncomfortable. You will learn how to get past those barriers.
Who benefits from this?
This workshop is aimed at solopreneurs, entrepreneurs, and freelancers in a variety of areas. The skills learned in this workshop can be applied to all sorts of careers that require critical thinking. Often design thinking courses are focused on teamwork, but the same process can work for a team of one.
Included in the workshop:
In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.
