Trisha Ray

Teaches at Next Actor

While a freshman in college, Trisha spent her summer working in a printing press in Fremont, California where she wrote her first full-length screenplay 'Hola Armando' about adventures of little Armando and his adoptive teen mother who are running from getting caught by the biological mother. When she took it for production, she was told that there is no audience for single teen mothers and adoptive child. The film was never produced but convinced her to quit pre-med and pursue film production with full focus. Her guerrilla comedy feature Bleep Love that was shot in Houston, featured music donated by actor-musician Ryan Donowho whose father Wayne Donowho was one of the actors in the film. In 2010, Trisha started working on her dream screenplay 'Regression', a political thriller about Argentina's Dirty War era. When she finished, she titled it '9 July, Buenos Aires'. The film started production in 2014.
