Kay Matthews is a Successful Business Woman, Motivator, Advocate and Mental Health & Wellness Advisor. Kay Matthews lives in Houston Texas and is the owner of Extraordinary Cakes and the Founder of BabyCakes & Brunch and the Shades of Blue Project which helps women on their road to recovery after child-birth. She has been a local Houston business owner for over 23 years. BabyCakes & Brunch has been recognized by the Mayor and was given their own day in the City May 29th which is celebrated every year since with a community hosted Fun Day In The Park. As a very accomplished business owner Kay feels that helping others to reach their own goals is the best benefit of being in business. Teaching and speaking to all ages helping them to realize that they are able to live their dreams and make life great. To Kay this is the most important aspect of the work she does with in the communities. Kay states “I know how it feels to be without as does many of us share this same experience. As I’ve gotten older I’ve realized that teaching and awareness is a must; God does not allow us to go through things and come out without being able to help others in need.
