DeMarco Howard

Teaches at Vault Houston/GYROTONIC® Houston

DEMARCO HOWARD grew up in Missouri City, Texas. He began dancing at the age of nine, and he has developed a true passion for all of the arts. He received a bachelors of fine arts with a concentration in 3D art from Abilene Christian University where he co-founded the very first hip hop dance team and led the SHADES Step Squad for three years. 

He worked at Dance Discovery Studios and choreographed two musicals for McMurry University and Abilene Community Theatre. He has been instructed by Teri Wilkerson of Dance Discovery Studios and Christine Van Loo of the “Cirque de la Symphonie.” DeMarco has also appeared in such musicals as “Hairspray,” “And the World Goes Round,” “The Drowsy Chaperon,” and “The Producers” where he also held the position of dance captain. 

Along with teaching youth classes and aerial fabric at VauLt Houston, DeMarco is the After School and Creative Director at the Fort Bend Academy of Arts and Dance where he teaches hip hop and tap. When DeMarco is not dancing or teaching youth, you might find him drawing, recording dance videos, baking cakes professionally, spinning turn tables as a DJ, working creatively as a graphic designer, and taking long naps when ever he can find free time outside of all his other activities.
