Prelude Music Classes for Children

Founded in 2006 by Dr. Ana Treviño-Godfrey, Prelude Music Classes has brought the joy of the Music Together® program to more than 10,000 families across Houston, Sugar Land, and The Woodlands. Prelude classes offer children and their caregivers a unique opportunity to bond through the power of music while supporting the child's physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. And they're also a whole lot of fun. 

We offer classes for children from birth through age 7, plus additional programs that extend into third grade. Each 45-minute class is led by a certified Music Together instructor in a relaxed, noncompetitive environment, where both children and adults are encouraged to sing, dance, wiggle, giggle, and play while enjoying a special bonding experience. While our Music Together classes form the core of what we do, the Prelude community extends far beyond our walls, and we are thrilled to host family concerts, play dates at local venues, and other opportunities for Prelude families to sing and play together.
