When you think of a date, the first thing that might come to mind is a romantic evening. However, at Digital Photo Academy, we believe a ‘date’ can be any shared moment between two people. This engaging workshop is open to pairs of all kinds—whether friends, family members, or romantic partners. Instead of the usual outings, why not immerse yourselves in capturing your surroundings and each other, creating lasting memories in the process.
In this two-hour session, you’ll explore the fundamentals of photography in a supportive and engaging atmosphere.
Our experienced instructor will guide you through understanding your camera settings and the basics of composing a powerful image, ensuring you both feel confident as you capture impactful images.
- Your instructor will offer guidance for both of you to photograph each other and even suggest striking poses.
- Your instructor will help you capture your surroundings.
- Additionally, our instructor will take candid shots of your duo, capturing those genuine, spontaneous moments for you to cherish.
At the end of the session, select 1 of your photos, and your instructor will demonstrate ways to digitally enhance it so you can print a hard-copy memory of the occasion.
No matter if you’re seasoned photographers or just starting, our private Photo Workshop Date is the perfect opportunity for any two people looking to connect, share laughs, and unleash creativity.

Note: Please bring only one camera per pair.
Important Scheduling Notes:
- Scheduling for private lessons is flexible and subject to the instructor's availability.
- In the rare event the instructor is unavailable during the booked date and time, the instructor will reach out and reschedule you based on your availability. You also have an option for an immediate refund.
- Course locations are TBD and subject to change. Exact locations will be communicated prior to class.
- Please know that the fee does not change if you bring along friends or family members if you want to divide the hourly cost.
