The workshop was so informative!!! You gain great knowledge when making your candle. Marla is a great instructor. There's a lot that goes into making beautiful candles, especially starting up your business. YouTube can't give you detail information like being in this workshop. I looking forward to her next workshop.

Marla seemed very knowledgeable about all aspects of candle making, from the tools, scents, waxes, etc., to selling them. We went through a handout she had (she also sent a link to the class online) and made a soy and a coconut wax candle. We used fragrance and essential oils for both (or a blend of two or more) in between going through the steps of making and selling the candles.
I went to the class right after work and thought the three hours would drag, but they flew. I found this class very interesting and would recommend it to anyone who might be thinking of selling candles. Having said that, I'm not sure that I'd do more than make them for friends and family, and I'm still really glad I took the class. I would definitely take another class with Marla.
