Wine and cheese is the height of elegance, we've been told. Wine and cheese=classy, right? Surely nothing goes together better than wine and cheese. Not so! Beer and cheese make a better pairing in every way, with a greater range of flavors working together to wow the senses. 

Come join us for a guided flight of three beers and cheeses selected by veteran cheese monger and Top Hops beer expert.

Event Itinerary:

1. Once all guests have arrived, we’ll begin with a greeting and introductions led by our engaging and charming Top Hops beer educator.
2. Class tasting notes will be handed out.
3. We will then provide an overview of what we intend to learn in the class.
4. Next, it’s time to get down to business and sample our scrumptious instructor-curated beers and cheeses.
5. Cheese and beer pairings will be done one at a time, with interactions around the tasting notes.
6. At the end we'll have time for some Q&A.
7. Guests should save some time to linger at Top Hops post class when they can opt to sample more beers.
8. The experience includes a 10% discount on all store purchases.

About the Instructor: 

Kevin Brooks is a craft beer professional with nearly a decade of experience in the industry. After a sting at Murray's Cheese where he learned the ways of stinky, creamy cheese, he moved on to work for a beer distributor, selling craft beer to bars and restaurants throughout New York.

About the Venue: 

Top Hops is a beer shop, tasting bar, and cultural center for craft and import beers, all in one establishment, located in New York's Lower East Side.

Our shop is located directly across from the Tenement Museum on Orchard Street. Our environment is simple and cozy, with space to browse over 700 bottles and cans from around the world.
