I actually took this candle making class yesterday evening. It was cancelled for the 20th last week. I really enjoyed the class. The teacher was remarkable. She took her time to explain the candle making process step by step. The studio looked amazing. I loved the black tiled floor with streaks of different colors. Both of my candles came out beautifully. The color & scents I choose for making my candles came out very well. I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to make candles.

How it Works
Description
In our candle making workshop your group will learn how to create beautiful, customized candles in tin containers, blending your own scents and colors.
Taught by a master chandler with 24 years experience, each participant will leave with two candles, and the memory of a lifetime!
Event Itinerary:
- Once attendees arrive the host will greet and seat them.
- Next we deliver a short welcome message and instructions on how each person will customize their own candle projects.
- Our servers will deliver the melted candle wax to the tables for each project.
- Attendees will customize their melted wax by adding their own fragrance, color, botanicals and additives and pouring into candle vessels.
- We repeat this for attendees to complete their two, unique candle projects.
- After the candle projects are completed and set up we distribute lids and eco-friendly bags for easy transport home.
What You Will Make / Go Home With:
- Two custom-made wax candles in tin containers.

this was a very thorough class. while you make two different kinds of candles that you can take home and burn, the primary purpose of the class is to review the steps needed to get into candle making as a business. as such, the teacher shares her personal experience, providing tips on where to source for materials and how to price.
as a big plus, she’s friendly and approachable, so this is not like a dry lecture, or powerpoint presentation. she also left us with a printed booklet which included a lot of what she went over incase theres something you forget.

Very knowledgeable teacher. After many tries reading candle making books and making candles with crappy results, Marla cut through all the useless info I brought into class and gave straight forward useful techniques, tried and true products…candle wax, wicks, fragrances and candle vessels.
