In this workshop, we'll explore how to feel more confident and engage with strangers and how to forge deeper relationships with existing personal and professional contacts. You'll gain knowledge of the dynamics of conversations of all varieties, from small talk at the office to networking events and social gatherings of all sizes. You'll also gain new tips for staying relaxed when speaking in front of large groups, as well as active listening techniques to improve information recall and Emotional IQ.
But most importantly, you'll get plenty of practice to put your new conversation skills to use.
About this Instructor:
Andrew Linderman is a writer and storyteller based in Brooklyn, NY. He teaches writing and storytelling with the Brookly n Brainery and is a story coach with the community education program at the Moth, a Macarthur award-winning non-profit dedicated to the craft of storytelling. Andrew is also the executive producer of Local Stories, a monthly storytelling series, and is the founder of the Story Source, a blog aimed at helping artists, business people, and entrepreneurs tell compelling stories.
