Event Description

There’s nothing so delicious as fresh pasta, and creating it yourself. It’s is easier than you might think.

Learn how to make the perfect pasta dough just like the Italian MasterChef’s. Next, you’ll pair your handcrafted pasta with a delicious sauce; both made from scratch. 

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing). 

Other Notes:

  • Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. Outside drinks are not allowed.
  • This event is semi-private. It takes place in a hotel or restaurant, your group is exclusively seated but there may be other patrons around in the venue.

Event Itinerary

  1. Guests will arrive and be greeted by the chef/instructor, and may order any drinks they’d like to have during the class (purchased separately).

  2. The chef/instructor will introduce themselves and give some background information on what will be cooked or prepared.

  3. You’ll then split into groups of 2-4 and each group will be given step by step instructions by the chef/instructor

  4. You’ll get to enjoy your creations and are welcome to hang out at the venue and continue to order drinks or food!

What You Will Make / Go Home With

  • Make the perfect pasta dough and then transform it into beautiful Tagliolini, Fettucine and Tagliatelle

  • Make burnt butter and sage sauce and Pomodoro sauce

About The Instructor

Maria is a Gourmand award-winning author, health & wellness coach, intuitive chef, motivational speaker and founder of Greekalicious, Sydney's first exclusively Greek cooking school.

She has been featured in top media including The New York Times, The Today Show, and Vogue; she is a food and health blogger for The Huffington Post and Mind Body Green; she is the author of three books – My Greek Family Table, Cooking & Eating Wisdom for Better Health, and Greekalicious Feast; and she is the creator of the Manifestation Planner & Organizer. This class was so fun!! This is the second class I've taken with Chef Sandro. Chef Sandro is extremely personable, is always walking around giving tips and advice, and he plays some great music while we prepare and cook our dishes. My friend and I are doing a 3rd class with him in June. Check out these classes, you will NOT be disappointed. The sauce we made for our pasta dish was OUT of THIS WORLD!!!

I had such a fun time at this class. The teacher really helped you learn the history and the steps of the pasta making process. The food was delicious and it was a fun environment with the other chefs.

It was perfect as an introductory course, and the instructor did a nice job of breaking down the concepts. The location in the hotel was a little strange, and it would have been nicer to have a bit more room to move about. Overall we really enjoyed it!
