Make a celebration-worthy charcuterie board & learn the ins & outs of this social media darling.

What you'll do:

Join us make a celebration-worthy charcuterie board! We’ll take you and your group on a 90-minute journey through the ins and outs of creating your own social media darling. We’ll make a pickle, we’ll make a mostarda, we’ll make a salami rose. 

Materials required to fully participate

Dry Goods

• 1 ¼ cups white wine vinegar
• 1 â…“ cups granulated sugar
• 2 tsp. salt
• ½ tsp. black peppercorns
• Two bay leaves
• 1 Tbs. whole grain mustard
• 1 cup roasted and salted nuts, any (cashews, macadamia nuts, almonds, and hazelnuts all work well)
• Jam, any
• Crackers and/or bread

Produce

• 1 bunch of baby carrots
• 3 medium apples
• Fresh fruit such as grapes, strawberries, figs, cherries, or plums (anything that doesn’t oxidize when you cut it)

2 to 3 types of Cheese

• one soft (such as brie);
• one firm (such as cheddar, Parm, gouda, or gruyère); and 
• one strong/funky (such as blue, goat, or washed rind cheese)

2 to 3 types of meat

• prosciutto (or fancy and thinly sliced ham, such as serrano or Iberico);
• salami; and 
• coppa, mortadella, or pâté

Additional Tools Required:

• Cutting Board
• Knife
• Board to serve charcuterie on
• Small bowls and serving utensils
• Saucepan
• 2x2 cup jars or deli containers
• Vegetable peeler
• Wine or water glass for making the salami rose
