Joy Eisenhauer

Teaches at Tinker Art Studio

Joy moved to Boulder 15 years ago to finish her degree in Fine Arts at the University of Colorado. She fell in love with the people and the creative community she found here. She moved up Sunshine Canyon where she ran her own pottery studio for over five years, making beautiful vibrantly colored porcelain dinner ware. In 2005 she received her Teachers License from Naropa, and began teaching at September High School for the next 7 years. There she created a free after school arts program for teens in the community called, After Hour Arts. Joy loves working with her hands in a wide variety of mediums, but especially loves teaching and working on the potters wheel. She now lives in the Holiday Neighborhood with her two young children and is excited to be making art again.
