Tarts are a fast and easy way to pull together an outstanding meal in no time.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn to make and fill tart crusts – the perfect vehicle for summer fruits and vegetables.
You’ll make 4 tarts – two sweet – a Raspberry and Nectarine Tart and a Plum Galette and two savory – a Tomato tart and a Pesto Quiche.
You’ll also learn how to prep your fruits and veggies for the best outcome, and how to make and work with frangipane (almond cream) and fruit glazes. You’ll leave class with four tarts, smartphone accessible recipes and tart-making tips, and plenty of inspiration to take to the farmers market.
