Kate is a mother of two children who lives in the Lakeview neighborhood. She was inspired by being a breastfeeding mother herself to pursue becoming a La Leche League Leader and then an IBCLC. After becoming an IBCLC, Kate founded Kate Ogilvie Lactation Consulting, Inc. to merge her passions for breastfeeding and for helping others. As Kate says "Working with Moms and babies and helping them achieve their breastfeeding goals is my true passion and gives me great joy." Kate is a member of ILCA, CABC, NILCA and La Leche League International. She is also a board member of the Chicago Area Breastfeeding Coalition.
