Kristina Meyer spends a lot of time dining out in Chicago’s vibrant restaurant scene, and has written about food, restaurants, and cooking for the Chicago Reader and Time Out Chicago. But she’s most at home behind the stove where she learned to cook at a young age and hasn’t stopped. Her specialty is comfort food celebration meals from around the world like Tunisian couscous platters, fried chicken soul food brunches and Burmese picnics. Classic spaghetti and meatballs was the first thing that Kristina learned to cook as a child, and remains amongst her favorite dishes to cook and teach.
