Alfie Hanssen is lead mobile developer at Atavist Inc., a media and technology company based in Brooklyn. He has extensive experience developing iOS Applications, in addition to working with Android and backend web services. Before joining Atavist he co-founded Tembo, a positive impact game studio, and Anonymous, a Philadelphia-based mobile development shop. Prior to this, Alfie worked throughout sub-saharan Africa as Chief Operating Officer for a non-profit involved in healthcare and entrepreneurship training there. Alfie has graduate and undergraduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania in computer science and design, with concentrations in computer graphics and game technology.
