Heartsaver Pediatric FA/CPR/AED eLearning with Hands-On Skills Session Class (Parts 1 & 2)
Who Should Take This Course?
This course is perfect for students who have the convenience of completing the course at their own pace at work, home, or wherever Internet access is available. The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Class is intended for child care workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, coaches for children’s sports organizations and others responsible for children including parents, grandparents, babysitters and guardians
Required Student Materials: There are no additional materials
Course Format and Exam:
(Part 1 = 2.5 hours) Part 1 delivers content through eSimulation technology, where students interact in real-time with patient scenarios, assessing and treating them in a virtual setting.
(Part 2 = 1 hour or less) Following Part 1, students are required to attend a live, hands-on, in person skills practice and testing conducted by an American Heart Association instructor.
Upon successful completion of Parts 1 and 2, students receive an AHA Heartsaver Pediatric FA/CPR/AED card. This blended learning course results in the identical certification as if a student attended the instructor-led class.
