Course Format and Exam (Part 1 = 4 hours) Part 1 delivers content through eSimulation technology, where students interact in real-time with patient scenarios, assessing and treating them in a virtual setting. (Parts 2 = 1 hour) Following Part 1, students are required to attend a live, hands-on, in person skills practice and testing conducted by an American Heart Association instructor.
Certification Card
Upon successful completion of Parts 1 & 2, students receive an AHA Heartsaver FA/CPR/AED card. This blended learning course results in the identical certification as if a student attended the FA/CPR/AED instructor-led class. Students can expect to receive an email, with a link to claim their eCard.
Cancellation
If you must cancel your registration for any reason please contact us via email, [email protected] with your request and explanation.
Rescheduling
If you registered and paid for a class, but can’t make that particular date or time, you may reschedule. Requests must be made in writing, emailed to [email protected], for our documentation purposes.
No-Show
If a registered student does not show up to their scheduled class and has not rescheduled, they are considered a no-show and forfeit the complete paid registration fee.
Low Enrollment and/or Emergency Cancellation
The school reserves the right to cancel classes at anytime, due to low enrollment and/or any unforeseen events, such as an emergency that’s due to severe weather, instructor illness/injury, family emergencies etc… In those unlikely events, we will make every attempt to contact you. Participants in these courses will receive priority enrollment in the next available class, and be given the option to reschedule or receive a full refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
