Combining classroom-based screenings with virtual visits to the Art Institute of Chicago museum, this course is designed to enhance students' ability to recognize, understand, and enjoy art and the movies.
Students will discuss works of art, the lives of the artists, and their representation in film as they analyze the formal elements of the moving image.
