What you'll learn in this vocal class:

The Actor’s Voice and Speech is for students who want to improve their speaking voice for the stage and film in a healthy way that can get them through a long run of a show.

The class is also beneficial for non-performers who would like to feel more confident about public speaking, and people who speak English as a second language and would like to learn how to be clear in their articulation.

The voice is the performer’s primary tool for communication. Using the Linklater progression and other speech disciplines students learn exercises to allow their voice to become more expressive without extra effort. Students will learn how to release tension in the body in order to speak with the freest, healthiest, and most resonant voice.
