What you'll learn in this auditioning class:
If you’ve never been taught how to effectively present a cold read, your in the right place! It’s an absolute must. Cold reads are used across the board. Whether your auditioning for a play, a movie, a tv show, a commercial, etc., knowing what your doing & how to do it is exactly why this workshop is imperative to your success as a serious actor.
A breakdown of cold reading skills we focus on: how to quickly breakdown & understand a new script; making decisions on the fly; emotional preparation; creating circumstances & objectives to deepen your character; creating a relationship with your audition partner; committing to the part
Actors registered in Audition Power, can expect to learn how to craft a monologue out of a dialogue scene. We’ll explain why this unique approach will absolutely ensure you stick out from the competition.
The school will collect a one-time registration fee of $25 for first-time students.
Refund Policy
- If you cancel 8 business days or more prior to your first class, you will receive a 70% refund of your tuition. The remaining 30% will be held as a credit, which can be used towards another workshop or program for up to six months.
- If you cancel 8 business days or less before your workshop or program begins, you will not receive a refund. Instead, everything you paid will be held as credit for any workshop or class you wish to register for, up to 6 months.
- If you cancel after a program or workshop has already started, you will not receive a refund or credit.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
