What you'll learn in this foraging class:
Enjoy a foraging walk led by knowledgable guide, Dave Odd, to discover the abundance of edible plants growing within our communities.
During these walks you will be introduced to 4-7 edible plants that grow in our area. You will learn how to identify the plant, when to harvest, what part to harvest, tips on preparation, and how to ethically wildcraft.
Recommended text for the series is The Forager’s Harvest by Samuel Thayer. Be sure to bring your cameras and notebooks!

Refund Policy
A full refund less a 5% non refundable registration fee will be given for any classes that the school cancels.
- For 2-3 hour classes a full refund less 5% cancellation fee will be given if a cancellation request is made up to 3 business days prior to the class.
- A refund less 5% cancellation fee for full day or weekend courses will be offered up to 6 business days prior.
If you have registered for the class, do not show up, and do not communicate your absence prior to the class, then you will be charged the full class fee. Instructors are compensated for teaching so it is important that we respect their preparation and teaching time.
