What you'll learn in this botanical art class:

This series of classes is for anyone who has an interest in learning how to draw and paint but feels intimidated at the thought. Heeyoung Kim’s step-by-step instruction and guidance will allow you to learn and have fun doing it. Plan to spend the day and register for both sessions at once to receive a ten percent discount.

Learn How to Draw in Graphite Pencil 2:

Experience the magic of a graphite pencil. A pencil, the simplest tool, will turn anything into an artwork. In this class, students will learn how to achieve realistic graphite drawing by adding details and accurate shadow. Deeper understanding of plant structure and composition will take students’ works to next level. Students will be encouraged to work on two independent projects during the course.

New! Botanical Journal of Spring Flowers in Mixed Media:

Do you want to express the beauty of nature in lines and colors, but are not sure how to start? How about journaling spring flowers from your garden? The instructor will show how to use simple tools such as graphite/colored pencil, pen, and/or watercolor. You can record what happens in your garden and tell your personal story with your own drawings.
