What you'll learn in this winter cooking class:

Winter rains give life to seasonal grasses covering hillsides and vineyard rows in Sonoma Valley. The region is awash in a refreshing bright green hue that contrasts against dormant vineyards whose tangled, leafless vines add a certain drama to the landscape. While the grapevines aren't producing any fruit, there is plenty of seasonal fruit and produce growing locally to enjoy this time of year. Fragrant citrus, sweet berries, freshly pressed olive oil, winter squashes, and earthy kale are just some of the seasonal bounty Sonoma Valley celebrates in winter.
