Join us for a hands-on workshop on how to prepare focaccia, an Italian flatbread, from start to finish. In this class, you’ll work with Eataly Chicago’s La Scuola Chef to form and shape focaccia dough and learnl tips on how to produce this tasty bread -- perfect for a light lunch on the go.
You will be welcomed into the class by a glass of Prosecco and enjoy a tasting of the Chef’s choice of focaccia. Then you can decide which ingredient you would like to use for your own creation. As the focaccia bakes, guests will receive a tour of our olive oil department to learn more about olive oil (one of the main ingredients of focaccia), its production, flavors and varietals.
If anyone under the age of 21 attends, we serve artisanal Italian sodas in lieu of wine or beer. Please notify us in advance for any dietary restrictions. If we are not notified ahead of time of any special needs, we may not be able to accommodate them. All guests planning to consume alcohol must be able to produce valid government - issued identification to prove they are 21 or older.
