Description
What you'll learn in this dye class:
A great class for those just starting out and are ready to experiment with dyeing, painting, printing, and stamping. Students will work on Silk & cotton fabrics samples as they learn various ways to use professional grade, Fiber Reactive Dyes. Techniques explored will include Shibori, Batik, Block Printing & Wax Resist with dye thickened for printing to liquid and vat dyeing. During the final class students apply 1 or more of the techniques to a silk scarf to keep.
Students should bring rubber gloves, a plastic grocery bag, and 5 pieces of 20" X 24" plastic to the first 2 classes. Dyes and silk scarf will be provided. Wear old clothes to class.

Refund Policy
Rescheduling or transfers to another date or other class are 100% transferable (Refund requests are 90% refundable) when withdrawal requests are made greater than 4 business days prior to class start.
No refunds, credits or make-up sessions available on short-notice cancellations (less than 4 business days notice) students should consider gifting or selling their seat to a friend.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
