Description
What you'll learn in this sewing & textile class:
We will make samples of the following things only using a serger
- Corners and curves plus straight lines
- Gathering and sewing at the same time
- Attaching elastic with the regular foot.
- Attaching elastic with an elastic foot
- Blind hem
- Attaching lace
- Rolled hem
- Gathering
- Picot elastic
- Cover Stitch
- Attaching beads
- Creating Piping
All Supplies are included in the class. All you need to do is show up! Unless you are virtually taking the class. Then you will need to have your own machine and supplies.
This is a one day class that goes over the serger and all of the different ways to use it. A serger is more than just finishing the edge. Although we will go over that as well. There are so many different ways to use a serger in your sewing projects!
Refund Policy
Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance of the class will be honored with a 95% refund. Students who cancel less than 48 hours prior to the start time of the class will receive a credit towards a future class.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
