Description

What you'll learn in this felt class:

Using the natural properties of wool and the laminating (Nuno) technique, students will create a light, summery scarf. Wool felt is generally thick, stiff and sculptural, but by using smaller quantities of wool and the luxurious drape of silk satin, a unique light and airy felt can be created.

During this 4 hour class students will explore color and design for the application of super soft Merino and/or Targhee wool to a provided, hand-painted silk satin base.

NO KNITTING, CROCHETING OR FELTING NEEDLES are used during this process!!

No previous felting experience needed. There is some physical exertion in this process so, please wear comfortable clothes and shoes to class. Some people require additional time for this project, so please bring a snack and allow for a 1 hour window beyond the stated end time.

Refund Policy

Rescheduling or transfers to another date or other class are 100% transferable (Refund requests are 90% refundable) when withdrawal requests are made greater than 4 business days prior to class start.

No refunds, credits or make-up sessions available on short-notice cancellations (less than 4 business days notice) students should consider gifting or selling their seat to a friend.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
