Description

What you'll learn in this portrait class:

In this course we shall concentrate on portrait, working from a live model. Students are free to use mediums of their choice, but will be encouraged to follow suggested assignments and approach the subject in different ways.

Homework: Students are strongly encouraged to do assigned homework regularly, as continuous practice is crucial to your development. Please be advised: you are welcome to come to Open Studios and work on your homework there. This way, the instructor will help you with the assignments. It should be mentioned that it is entirely up to you how elaborate will the homework drawings be, but none should be missed

The course is comprised of eight 2.5 classes.

Materials:

Mediums of student's choice. Please note that there will be at least 4 projects, so plan your supply accordingly.

Refund Policy

You may cancel your reservation up to 11 business days prior to the start time of the course.

You may choose to be refunded less a 10% processing fee.
Or to get Credit valid for six months.
Or to attend another course of the same (or lower) value.
No one will be refunded after this. No one will be refunded twice in a row.

Please note: You cannot transfer your classes to a next session, or get a credit for missed classes. Attending classes you signed up for is your responsibility, and we offer options (and open studios) allowing you to make up for the class(es) you missed during the session in question.

Special cases: If you are prevented from attending more than 2/3 of a course for which you registered on account of prolonged serious illness or grave personal calamity, we will try to accommodate you by giving you credit. Keep in mind that non-timely cancellation may result in taking someone else’s spot; thus you will need to demonstrate the seriousness of your circumstances.
