What you'll learn in this jewelry class:

Full Course Name: "Handcrafted Beginners Jewelry Making w/ Gemology and Color Theory"

In this class, you will learn the basics in jewelry making. The lessons include learning how to use jewelry tools, some gemology facts, the meaning of color, and tips on color combination.

Tools and materials will be provided. Nickel and Copper sensitivity welcome.

1st Saturday of the month is Bracelet Day - Making bracelets with elastic sting and beading wire

2nd Saturday of the month 2 is Earring Day - Creating earrings with various materials such as guitar picks, vinyl, acrylic beads and precious stones.

3rd Saturday of the month - Necklace/ Wire Wrapped Jewelry Day: Creating necklaces using leather cord and a vary of beads or precious stones. Also learning some basic wire wrapping techniques creating focal pieces with copper wire. As a bonus we will create matching earrings with your necklace.

4th Saturday of the month - Review week taking everything you’ve learned to create a matching set (earrings, necklace and bracelet).

Note: Please keep this in mind when booking: Classes booked within less than 24 hours may have to be rescheduled due to space constraints upon rare occasion.


School Notes:
Providing dietary and allergy information applicable to any classes. Wearing appropriate clothing for the activity such as no open toe shoes for cooking and clothes you wouldn't find getting a little dirty for certain art classes.

100% of any tips made to your instructor go straight to him/her and are completely optional. Class sizes are small so they are extra fun and attentive

Refund Policy
Cancellations 

If SC cancels a class due to low enrollment or other extenuating circumstances, all participants will be notified to arrange for a credit towards another class.

If you cancel less than 5 calendar days before your scheduled class, SC may not issue any class credit or transfer.

No Show Policy 

Instructors are allowed to leave and cancel class after 30 minutes of no students within the teaching space and after this point, there are no refunds.

Sending a Friend in Your Place 

You may send a friend in your place in any such circumstance, but it is your responsibility to inform your friend policies applicable to them. This is because we allow you to send someone last minute.

Rescheduling 

If you need to reschedule your class(es), there is a strict 3 time policy. This means we will not reschedule you after missing 3 classes. Reschedules are only for the same class(es) initially paid for. 24-hour minimum notice is required for any rescheduling due to the nature of how we both prepare for and book for the rent of the class space. We cannot refund after 24 hours leading up to the class time.

SC cannot provide refunds, credits, or class transfers for classes missed as a result of illness, job loss, personal emergencies or events beyond our control. In general, Seeds Center does not provide any refunds.
