What you'll learn in this collage class:
Mixed Media Painting & Collage gives you the opportunity to explore the art of the collage, in this relaxed, social environment. Using found papers, images, and paint learn to create a unique piece of art. Learn basics of composition to create intriguing backgrounds to transfer your found images. Recycled papers and personal mementos can take your work to the next level. Play with wax, water color, and acrylic mediums. You will leave with an original work on wood and the inspiration to continue at home.

This was my 1st art class. It was easy and straightforward. Wish there were more types of periodicals to choose from and appliqués. The ambience was sedate. Thought it would be more social. In any case, I tried something new. I'd do it again.
