A class that offers not only candle making but also the art of cutting a glass wine bottle for your vessel! Join Chicago Candle Company and choose from one of our upcycled wine bottles or bring your favorite bottle from home and we will show you how easy it is to repurpose it into something amazing. This is the perfect girls' night, date night or team-building experience!
We will be covering introductory glass cutting and hand pouring of each candle with soy wax. Choose from different cocktail scents such as Barrel-Aged Bourbon, Old Fashioned Cocktail or Whiskey & Sweet Tobacco! Have fun learning something new and feel great that you will be taking home a soy candle you made yourself!
How to find us
Enter and/or park on Carpenter (parking is safe and free) and then walk in where it says "ENTRANCE TO COURTYARD" off Carpenter. You will see a big loading dock area, go up the wood stairs and there is a glass door on the RIGHT corner- you will enter there. Code for the door is *1079 and come up to the 4th floor, hang a right and walk all the way down. You will smell candles...follow your nose! ;)
What to Bring
Optional: A wine bottle if you have a favorite or empty one laying around. We do provide them as well. Feel free to BYOB. We have wine glasses!
Prerequisites
Anyone is welcome, no experience is necessary.
What's Provided
Glass wine bottles for filling and all necessary ingredients/tools.
Please Note
This experience has a minimum of 2 students required to go forward. You'll be notified if it is below minimum 7 days in advance. If the minimum is not met 24 hours before the event, you’ll have the option to pay the difference for a private event amount, transfer to another date or Dabble experience, or receive a refund.
In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
